Population Pyramid Summary:
After evaluating this population pyramid you can place the United States in Stage 4 of the demographic transition model, these countries are referred to as Core countries. You can identify this based on the graph because it is shown the birth rate is low as well as death rate. The effect of CBR and CDR being low influences other factors that classify Core countries, and that is there is no rate of natural increase (RNI). The United States also meets Core country standards by being highly industrial, and encompassing an educated society.

Population Pyramid Summary:
Bangladesh is referred to as a developing country, therefor distinguishing the country in Stage 2 on the Demographic transition model. This is also known as a Periphery country. Bangladesh has high crude birth rate (CBR) and lower crude death rate (CDR). These aspects result in the rate of natural increase being very high. This is specified as population explosion. Other conditions that identify a Periphery country is medical and agricultural technology is beginning to be introduced, the population is living longer, and death rate is low. That specific classification makes the shape on the transition model the way it is.

Article Summary:
Thousands of Bangladeshi migrants moved across sea in search of relocation elsewhere in the near region in seek of work. Specifically in Malaysia and Indonesia. Many of these migrants are illegal, and authorities are ready to send back 208 Bangladeshi citizens. This is leaving them stranded in Myanmar territorial waters.
Concept Description:
The concept this article specifically relates to is migration. Migration is represented here by Bangladeshi citizens emigrating from their country in search of economic conditions. The following article also relates to push and pull factors that initiate migration. In this case it would be a pull factor, because of the perceived opportunities in a destination. This topic also touches on a few of Ravenstein's Laws of Migration. Such as every migration flow generates a return or counter-migration, and majority of migrants move a short distance. Also the migration represented by the article would be recognized as voluntary migration.
